My brother is turning 22 on the 19th, and my son will be 4 on the 20th. I need some kind of idea of how and where to do a combined birthday party, thats not going too all out. This will mostly be adults, with just 3 or 4 toddlers.

I am having a party for my 3 year old. I handed out invitations 2 weeks ago and have only had 6 RSVP’s out of about 18 invites. Question is, do I call them, assume they are not coming or plan for their attendance. The party will go on, but I’m a bit annoyed that I have not received confirmation.

For my daughter’s first birthday i’m doing a princess themed party. As one of the favors im sending each kid home. I bought a wilton mold to make mini princess cupcakes for each of the girls. I’d like to do some special cupcakes like that for the boys but I don’t have any idea what to do for the little princes, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

My kids go to countless Bday parties and I am always shocked when I get a thank you note anymore because it just seems so uncommon! I was raised that you ALWAYS write a thank you- if child was too young, the parent would write it. The not R.S.V.P.-ing thing really irks me. I’ve had people show up that I didn’t expect, and when I ask them why they didn’t call and let me know, they’ll say, “Oh, I didn’t know.”! Then there isn’t enough food, favors or whatever.
I gave a good friend’s daughter $50.00 for her high- school grad and never got a thank you note. I don’t give gifts to get a thank you- I just thought it was good manners to thank the person in writing. What do you think? I can’t wait to hear your answers as this has been bothering me for quite awhile- in case you couldn’t tell! Lol! Thanks!!

Games? Food? There’s going to be 8 toddlers ages 1-3….Im stomped on what to do with them.

My toddler’s 3rd b-day is comming up and I have three options that I need help to decide on , which one do you all think might work better?

1. Chuckee Cheese with just 3 of her friends and a bunch of adult family members (I wanted to invite 11 kids but Chuck e Cheese is just so expensive!)

2. A 2 hour party at home with family and then directly after take her to chuckee cheese with just me, and her grandmother.

3. Or take her to chukee cheese on her birthday and then have a party for her the next day at home with no specific ending time?

What do you think?

She doesn’t like any specific characters yet so does anyone know of any good websites to find cute baby party favors? Or do you have any decor suggestions? It will just be me, her dad, our parents, our brothers and sisters and their kids.
