Alternative to everyday goody bag junk toys anyone?HELP?

Can anyone please give me ideas on inexpensive or homemade party favors that arent the typical throw away junk toys, please? The kids are in first grade!!! Thanks in advance. Please let me know ASAP as the party is Saturday and I am searching frantically for ideas online with no sucess! thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!

Some good ideas are play doh (they sell the little packages, with like 20 in a bag for $4), crayons, coloring or activity books, stickers or candy. Kids that age loove all that stuff. Hope that helps.
